Associated Builders and Contractors Founding Member of Group Focused on High Effective Tax Rates

ABC to Move National Office to Capitol Hill

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today announced  it is relocating its national office from Arlington, Va. to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. ABC signed an 11-year lease with First Potomac Realty Trust for 19,830 square feet of office space at440 First Street, NW.

ABC Concerned Over Change in U.S. Senate Rules and Procedures

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today said it is concerned over a change in U.S. Senate rules and procedures, using the so-called “nuclear option,” allowing the majority party to confirm presidential appointments, and pass legislation, that is being filibustered by a simple majority of 51 votes instead of the 60 vote threshold.
